“Keeper of Stone and Memory: Divergence”
In March, 2024, Air and Nothingness Press published “A collection of reimagined and divergent speculative fiction stories” regarding The Librarian. As an author from the original collection, I was invited to engage with another author’s contribution, imagining how else it might have happened. I chose “Keeper of Stone and Memory,” and my divergence can be found in Inter Librarian Loan: Volume 1. My original story, “Animatra,” was selected by two other authors, as well, and seeing it taken in new directions was truly flattering.
Fathoms In The Earth
In 2024, I had the absolute honor of copy editing Fathoms in the Earth for Air and Nothingness Press. A series of short stories inspired by The Tempest, I cannot recommend this highly enough. It was a joy to work on, and absolutely gorgeous.
“Satchel’s Day out”
Air and Nothingness Press published a special sequel to The Librarian July, 2023. My story, “Satchel’s Day Out,” is a cute little dialogue-only snippet published on an oversized playing card in a deck of stories. It was, however, very limited release, and completely sold-out.
“Animatra”
Air and Nothingness Press published The Librarian December 15, 2022. My story, “Animatra,” is one I’m particularly proud of, featuring living tattoos, mysterious men, and hope for a new start. The Librarian is available in limited quantities from Air and Nothingness Press.
“The Gift of Dreams”
I wrote a retelling of “The Gift of the Magi” that was accepted for publication by If There’s Anyone Left. It always bothered me that the wife’s sacrifice was so temporary, however culturally significant, while the husband’s was more permanent. I tried to imagine a more equitable exchange. I’m not sure I succeeded with “The Gift of Dreams,” as I can easily see the argument that one sacrifice is slightly more extreme than the other, but I will happily debate the emotional balance on the other side, regardless of which you take, should that interest you. It was released in December and is available on Amazon.

“Tala’s Tea Time”
Air and Nothingness Press released Spirit Machine in April 2022. I’m so excited to be a part of it! This was my very first sale, the one that made me a “published author.” It is available in limited quantities from Air and Nothingness Press.
